This year we have been blessed to have Pappy cultivating our land. He is fighting dry weather, moose, and rocks to create a family garden. He created a diversionary method for the moose and created a few new rock piles. The well water is too cold to put directly on the plants so he is continuely filling up watering cans and then hauling them over the yard. Luckily the past week has brought some moisture. Our cherry tree bloomed early this year and now has small green cherries on it. We are seeing butterflies for the first time. However, the dragonfly population is down along with the mosquito population. Dino is shedding and so we are starting the task of brushing out his thick winter undercoat. He doesn't do too many laps before he is ready to lay in the shade. He follows Grayson around the yard and is constantly looking for his pal Jessie to come over and play!
