On our way to the Wasilla 4th of July parade, we spotted two moose alonside the road. The boys enjoyed a fairly long parade. It was clear that it was an election year! Lots of candidates marching in the parade. The parade taught Grayson how to point and wave. Landon scored a big bag of candy. It was a great way to celebrate, complete with bald eagle souring overhead. Alaska is very small town USA. In fact, we have had more people come up and thank us for Layne's military service than anywhere else that we lived. People actually go out of there way to say thanks. It is nice to be in a "red" state.
