Our day was about moose, musk ox, and of course mothers! After church today we headed out to the musk ox farm for their annual open house. Mom's are admitted free and everyone else is asked to make a donation. This was our first visit to the farm. It has amazing views! No baby musk ox, at least that we saw, but they did have Matanuska Creamery Ice Cream for sale. Yummmy! Grayson dribbled half the cone down his shirt. Landon was more interested in searching for ladybugs than seeing the musk ox. The museum had lots of information, but with two little ones there really wasn't time to read. We did get a picture of the boys next to the musk ox "football."
Pappy has dug up a plot to plant potatoes. This morning we discovered that moose had paraded through his plot. Luckily, there are no potatoes yet. He will start a moose abatement project this week.
The boys then spent the afternoon Skyping with extended family and surprised me with a hanging basket. (Thanks Pap and Grammy)
