Got on the road on Saturday and drove to Tok, AK and spent the night. On Sunday I drove to Haines, AK and took these pics. The first is Sheep Mtn (Canadian version) where two years ago we got our windsheild cracked - no such event this time. The rest are scenery en route to Haines. The pic of the truck is at a rest stop where we stopped and took a pic of the SUV/trailer 2 years ago on our trip up to Alaska. Canada still has plenty of snow, about 4 feet along the highway to Haines, but Haines was green and leafy and all the snow had melted in town. About 30 miles east of Tok, I had to come to a complete stop to let 4 adult caribou cross the road - the first time I'd seen caribou from that herd (1 big bull and 3 cows) - but they disappeared before I could get the camera out!
