Stayed too busy to post each weekend this past July/Aug, so I thought I'd post all the pics of our catch from the Creek in one blog. Overall, the catch from the Creek plus a handful of salmon from Seward and the Russian totaled just shy of 50 salmon, and will be enough to keep us stocked this winter (with quite a bit of halibut put away as well - but that's for another post).
Grayson got the hang of 'flipping' for salmon this year, and took quite a few reds and silvers.
I lose track of which weekend each pic belongs to, so they might not be in order, but we took a snapshot of most of our catches before filleting and packing them.
Honey brought Landon good luck, and looks like Grayson slept in that day.
Some weekends were more productive than others.
Football practice really cut into Landon's fishing opportunities, but he did well each time he was able to go down to the Creek.
Jolene had tired of cleaning scales off the counter, so I invested in a cleaning table that was well worth the money, and it stands high enough to make my back appreciate the purchase.
This was Dino's favorite fish...we don't get many Chum (or Dog) salmon in the Creek. But when we do, I'll catch them and grill them up for Dino. He ate well that week.
I tried to show the trail cam our catch each morning as we walked back to the house.
