Here we go out to sea, on our fourth wildlife cruise. We were fortunate to see a few of humpback whales this year. We also saw orcas this time as well as the standard: sea otters, stellar sea lions, puffins, and assorted other birds. Dinner at Fox Island was eh. I think we will try another cruise company next time. Before we cruised, Shiloh said, she hoped she got to see a whale. I didn't want to tell her that the odds were pretty good, just in case we didn't see one. She and Deacon got a treat when the whale came up right next to the boat. They were lucky enough to be outside for it. I was inside with Grayson, who had thrown a monster fit earlier and was passed out in my arms. Post One will come later, it's 11pm August 7th and dark...I am going to bed ;)

Exit Glacier Rock Throwing....
...You can never throw enough rocks, or build enough dams....
It was approaching dinner time when we arrived at the glacier so we enjoyed the short hike, or in Grayson's case ride, to the outwash basin of the glacier. The outwash had carved a different path than our last trip just a few weeks ago. The walk was plagued by some type of little annoying fly, it looked like a fruit fly on steroids. Then again, everything is bigger in Alaska. (Sorry Texas)

Eklutna Lake
Shiloh and I took the kids over to another great rock throwing spot, Eklutna Lake. We managed to get some good pictures of the kids before the sprinkles set in. They are all so funny and different with extremely unique personalities but amazingly, they all get along with each other. Landon is everybody's hero, or as you may see in the pictures, the creature that stalks everyone else. I posted a lot of sequence shots just so you could see how silly they all are.
