We took the kids up for a hike at Independence Mine today. We got tired of waiting on a pretty day and decided it was "good enough" to go. It ended up being a quick walk around the mine because of an impending rain shower. Emma's comment was "it's cold." In fact, if it were about 10 degrees colder we would've had snow showers instead! It was nice to get out and get a little exercise. Grayson opted for a Pappy ride back down in the rain. Grayson is a good hiker when he wants to be, but lately has been wanting to be held, a lot. I think he just misses his Daddy;)
