Leg 1 Complete!

Well with the house all packed and our arrival at our first rest point, we say thank you for all your prayers. The boys were great in the car and are having fun burning off their pent up energy here at Honey's. We have decided they can handle three days of driving but then need a break! It will be nice to relax and enjoy the holidays without the hustle of the last two weeks.

What a weekend....

I did it...I survived and am now sitting admist a pile of boxes, enjoying some quality time with my computer. The photo fundraiser was a blast and successful to my limit! We were blessed with a gogeous day. You could even see the mountains, a rare occurence here. We shot 25 families, the photos are uploaded, and prints are ordered. Now our focus will be move, move, move.....

Beginning of the end...

Well today marked the end of soccer season for Landon. He had a blast this season with his best friend Lauren on his team. Of course the last game is always his favorite because he gets a trophy.

Grayson continues to grow and enjoying eating a meal or two of rice cereal. He also is frequently tormented by big brother. Both boys got shots this week. Guess who was the bigger baby? Grayson weighs in at 16 lbs 2 ozs, 25+ inches. Landon weighed in at 38lbs and 42+ inches.

Traci and I had a blast shooting out first full wedding today. We had done formals before but never gotten to do the whole shebang. It was AWESOME! We could not have been blessed with a more beautiful winter wonderland. Check out the pictures at www.tj-photography.smugmug.com It will take awhile to get them all posted.

Rain, Rainbows and Farewells

As we prepare to say farewell to our friends here. We were blessed with a beautiful rainbow similar to one that we saw when we first arrived. It is always amazing how God puts a little light into the craziness of life. I hope we never forget to stop and see the wonder of his creation.

I was also blessed with the opportunity to take photos of a friend's children whose father is about to head off to Iraq. The boys were so cute and proud of their Daddy. I included a few of my favorites.

The movers arrive on Monday..two days left to prepare. I am helping to shoot a wedding and a squadron fundraiser this weekend. Needless to say it will be busy! We are ready to head East and relax for the holidays.

Falling Leaves....

We went back East to celebrate the holiday and were surprised to see that we still had a chance to enjoy the fall leaves.
The boys had a great time with their cousin's Deacon and Emma and visiting with extended family.
Landon's favorite thing was waking up at dawn grabbing his coat and heading out the door to play with the dogs in his pajamas.
Grayson is rolling from back to front really well now and is as spoiled as ever. We even let him sample the mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving meal.
The movers will be here in 11 days! Yikes!

Star Student

Landon came home on Friday announcing that he got picked as the

star student for his class. He was very excited. The class cycles through each student as "star" student and they get to lead the line, hand out magic soap, etc. Landon was also happy to display his Veteran's day artwork. He says the eagle is daddies squadron.

Grayson continues to grow and weighed in today at 16lbs! He also rolled over (stomach to back) on Wednesday and rolled the other way on Friday. He is a very content baby.

We are truely blessed by both boys.

Texas Cotton

We just returned from a great trip to Texas. Gramp's cotton was outstanding and we took the opportunity to use it for some photo ops. Landon celebrated his birthday with other October born family members. His proudest achievement was "eating Hunter's head" from the photo cake.
