The Vatican City (Posted by Grayson)

This is a painting of Eve giving Adam the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The first thing we see in a country amazingly separated form Italy, yet the only thing that separates the two countries is a 1,200 year old wall, 39 feet tall, and built to protect the Vatican from pirates and marauders is this.

This is a photograph of the 1,200 year old wall, amazingly still in shape. If you look to the right of the picture you can see the wall compared to the size of a car.

As you  move deeper into the country, they are many museums for you to visit, one of them contained this statue. This is a statue of one of the Caesars with two other statues aligned to look like soldiers next to Caesar.

This statue is called The Nile and it represents Egypt. It does this with using the animals of Egypt. The statue was taken from Rome and put into Paris museums but is now back safely in Rome.

This is just a cool capture of a head on a pedestal with one of the Caesar statues in the background with no People in it!

This is a cool statue of Perseus holding Medusa's head.

With two guards on post beside him, Hercules, holding his lion skin and club, Hercules stands guard.

This is me and Landon standing next to some sort of old polished tomb.

This first photograph is of a 4,000 year old Egyptian tomb and the second picture is of a 4,000 year old Mummy!

These are 4,000 year old armor, shield, and Roman chariot.

See that old rock looking thingamabob, that is a 4,000 year old inscription from Nebuchadnezzar II.

This is me and Landon before entering the Sistine Chapel. Sadly, they did not allow pictures in the Chapel so we cannot show you photos.

That is the Balcony the the Pope stands on every Wednesday.

Inside the huge Church in which the Pope speaks.

These (colorful?) outfits were designed by Michelangelo himself.

This is the Catholic Church, St Peter's Basilica, where the Pope speaks from a far view.

This is also the Church but farther away so you can see the whole thing.

Well, you don't see Monks eating ice cream every day.

If you want to see photos that I never described, or even if you don't want to see them, look below.
