Today we made a quick run through the Roozengarten in Mount Vernon, WA. The county is suppose to be having a tulip festival but the weather has been too cool so only the daffodils were blooming. I learned today that Layne had never had a funnel cake so the boys all got their first taste. Grayson found it especially yummy.
Grayson, by the way is doing a little better today. Getting his appetite back as tooth #2 is about to pop through. Landon is thoroughly spoiled, as you know, yesterday we pointed out a bald eagle to him and he said, "I saw one of those already!" On the bright side, today he kept asking to go to a museum. In hindsite, we probably should have driven to the BC museum in Vancouver today. Well, I guess we have to save something for our next trip!
Tomorrow we begin our trip on the ferry, so au revoir and we will write more on the flip side.
