Origins Museum

Last weekend the boys and I hit a local museum, called Origins. It is a temporary museum in the Shoprite plaza until the end of November. The museum is spilt between historic Bibles and science. The boys of course, were fascinated by the dinosaurs. Most of the displays that Mommy would have liked to have read were glanced over in favor of the boys interests. We lucked into going on a free day and Landon took lots of pictures. He will definitely take his Daddy there over the Thanksgiving break. The desk where the docents were working is the largest single piece of petrified wood. There were also first editions of Watson & Crick's work, works by Darwin, Linnaeus, Copernicus, solarsystem models, Dead Sea Scrolls, Illuminated texts, a meteorite, and more. It is an awesome little museum, expecially for here in Wasilla.
