Romeo and Juliet

Grayson decided he wanted to try something new, so before the start of soccer season, he entered the local Valley Performing Arts summer camp, and was cast as Romeo in a play at the Valley Performing Arts Theater.

The play was called "Shakespeare Rocks", which explained the backstories to how Shakespeare came up with the plots for his plays.

He played several roles, here as an unnamed character.

And another.

But his main role was as Romeo, opposite a very talented Juliet.

And he had some singing lines as well.

Their final bow.

Post-production photos. He did great, and had a good time. After the 2-week camp preparing for the play, they performed twice, Saturday and Sunday of last weekend.  He says he'll be doing this again.
