Eklutna Lake - Windy Day

Beautiful blue skies today so we had to get out somewhere, however, the wind was also out in full furry. We headed to Eklutna Lake where I finally was able to purchase a state parks pass, not that I mind giving money to that great cause, but it's much easier to not have to worry about having cash on hand when you visit the parks. The wind brought out the kite boarders to the lake which was filled with white caps. Landon was disappointed that we did not go to "secret lake" but once he realized where we were he was ready for that favorite Alaska boy past time. You guessed it, more rocks and rock throwing. He also made a game, "Keep away from the surf." It somehow involved shaking his fanny at the water and running from it as the waves crashed. Keep in mind that this is a lake, and not suppose to have surf to begin with. Grayson is always geared to go hiking, or rather be carried around by mommy. He became annoyed with my taking pictures by the lake and even covered my lens with his hand as I snapped the picture. He does, however, feel that it is necessary to pose for an obligatory standing on rock picture...on every rock that we pass.
