Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is always a favorite stop on our way to the Kenai. It is a great opportunity for those touring the state to guarantee that they see wildlife up close and personal. We got a good look at the grizzlies this time because it was near feeding time and they were all hanging out at the fence. Laura learned her factoid of the trip. "1964 Earthquake" created the ghost trees. Landon and Kate became quick friends on this trip and were pretty inseparable, except for in the car when Landon determined that the SUV has too many bugs and so he would rather ride with Honey in Daddy's truck.
