Portage glacier is another nice stop on the trip down to the Kenai. Unfortunately we arrived just as the visitor's center closed. The center has many hands on activities for the kids and I'm a little sad that we missed it...maybe next trip. We still had the opportunity to take in the great view and see ice bergs that have calved off the glacier.
