After our trip to Seward, we were pretty tired so Wednesday we headed into Anchorage to tackle the zoo. Most normal "zoo" animals cannot tackle the winter up here. There are no elephants, giraffes, or apes. The zoo is filled with many elusive and local animals, including the musk ox pictured below.
